Departure from Cusco & Breakfast in Mollepata

Here, we will enjoy a delicious local breakfast, essential to energize us for the altitude challenge, before continuing our journey to Soraypampa.

Hike to Humantay Lake

Upon arriving at Soraypampa, we will begin our 1 hour and 40-minute hike. The trail ascends gradually, presenting a challenge due to the altitude, but our guide will set a suitable pace. This hike is more demanding than the Rainbow Mountain trek. If needed, you can rent a horse for 80% of the journey, making access to this Andean gem easier.

Spiritual Connection and Offering

Humantay Lake is a sacred place. Upon arrival, our guide will lead a brief ceremony of gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits), using coca leaves. This moment of spiritual connection will allow you to understand the profound Andean worldview and feel the energy of the place.
