Pickup and Travel to Maras

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel around 8:00 AM (for central locations). We will travel for approximately 1.5 hours to the charming town of Maras, where we will admire its colonial-style streets and doorways, a testament to its historical importance.

Photo Stop at the Sacred Valley Viewpoint

During the tour, we will make a special stop at one of the panoramic viewpoints of the Sacred Valley. Here you can capture spectacular photographs of the Andean landscapes, the crop fields, and the surrounding mountains.

Moray: The Inca Agricultural Laboratory

We will visit the experimental agricultural terraces of Moray, a set of circular platforms up to 150 meters deep. Historians believe it was an Inca agricultural laboratory, with irrigation channels where each level created a unique microclimate for crop research.

The Salt Mines of Maras (Salineras)

Continuing our journey, we will head to the Salt Mines of Maras. This impressive site features over 2,000 salt pans, which have been continuously harvested by local families since Inca times, creating a visually stunning landscape of white pools on the mountainside.
